Audi's strong performance in a new J.D. Power survey

A new study by J.D. Power and Associates has confirmed that, in Audi's American market, the brand remains one of the most attractive and desired.

The US Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) survey has been conducted annually for many years, and the results reflect the finest in automotive engineering and style.

Audi cars are ranked top in a number of segments, such as the A4 and A5 as compact premium cars, both the A6 and A7 mid-size alternatives and the Audi Q5 compact premium SUV. The Audi Q5 in particular has performed impressively given that it launched in America just this year.

In the overall manufacturer rankings, Audi easily outperforms the industry average of 794 points with a score of 858, taking third place. The difference in score between the brand and table leader Porsche is just 24 points.

UK drivers took part in the Auto Express Driver Power survey earlier this year, and voted both the Audi A3 and Audi Q3 into the top 20 with 90.47 percent and 89.98 percent scores respectively. The Audi Q3 entered the top five for reliability, and the Q5 topped the table in terms of build quality. Variations of the A1. A4, A5 and A6 also make strong appearances in the final list of 150 vehicles.
