The Audi A6 returns in 2015

It’s been confirmed that the Audi A6 will return in its next generation for the 2015 model year. The manufacturer is making extensive changes and enhancements to the vehicle, encompassing style, technology and performance.

All models at SE trim or above will now be fitted with vibrant xenon headlights as a standard feature. The sweeping lines and purposeful stance of the A6 will be maintained, with the Singleframe front grille, exhaust pipes and rear lights, bumpers and air intakes all sporting a slightly different design.

Drivers will continue to have the choice between the A6 and S6 Saloon, RS 6 Avant and quattro versions of the vehicle. Each one will lead for space and in-car technology – the Avant, for example, claims a load volume of up to 1,680 litres. The Audi Connect system and top-of-the-range MMI navigation return across the range with improved graphics.

Further developments have been made to the engines offered with the A6, and CO2 emissions are now 22 percent lower. The model also makes use of fuel-saving stop&go technology and adaptive cruise control. Of the power units, the 2.0-litre diesel ultra stands out with up to 64mpg and emissions of just 114g/km.

The order books for all 2015 Audi A6 models will open this month, and first deliveries to UK drivers could be by the end of 2014. Come to Audi South Dublin today to register your interest.
